I am feeling like I like this direction. With the focus still being on dreams, so the eyes closed at the top (both sets of eyes are actually mine) represent the dream state with the moons, clouds, stars and the dream guys (tree spirits from one of my favorite anime films). And the second half represents what happens when you wake (with the eyes open at the bottom), with the empty streets and isolation (related to the pandemic).

ReplyDeleteI love this. I think the blending of all the images works so well and the colors. I kinda feel like the closed eyes are hard to see and make it seem like the top is not as completed as the bottom. Just based off my first impression looking at it! Maybe bring them forward more and make the eyebrows more noticeable to help?
