Visual Sequential Narrative

Here is what I have so far for Project 4. When I think of Visual Sequential Narrative, I immediately thought of dreams. I wanted to create the space that I see in my dreams and how those dreams progress. Somehow, to show the progression of time I want to also include waking up from dreams- which is the black fuzziness on the edges-to represent the dream fading.

  1. I really love this piece so far! I love the soft colors and the overall cute and dreamlike vibes it gives off. I think you could make the black fuzziness around the edges more prominent and maybe blur some parts other parts of the image to help convey the passage of time. I'm looking forward to the finished product!

  2. The dreamy quality comes through really well, I like the idea of the black fuzzies implying the dream fading and I wonder if there's a way to add a vignette effect that could also help push that fuzzy fading feeling. I really like it so far and Im excited to see how it turns out!

  3. I'm a fan of the little dream dudes. Cool idea overall, I think you could take the whole idea of the dream fading and expand on it even more.

  4. This is really calming to look at, I love the colors and the little guys are very cute. I agree that emphasizing the dream fading would help tell the story you want to, maybe try something like a vignette? Great work so far!

  5. The little figures are really cool and cute. I kind of see them as the guides in your dreams. Keeping you on safe path so you don't fall into the black (the nightmares).

Wow. You've managed to capture a whole story within one image very effortlessly using many blending modes. It honestly looks like a dream and I love all your process work building up to this moment.
